The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Mr Gwede Mantashe, MP will deliver a keynote address at the MineSafe Conference, hosted by Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (SAIMM) on Tuesday 28 November 2023.

The conference seeks to promote the Mine Health and Safety Awareness and is convened under the theme "Every Life Counts.”

Minister is expected to encourage all delegates to improve the health and safety of mineworkers, contribute to achieving zero harm in the South African mining industry and foster collaboration and collective efforts among all social partners – government, business, and labour.
