The Department of Mineral Resources and Energy will host a two-day Mineral and Petroleum Resources Development Act (MPRDA) Review Summit on 13 and 14 July 2023, at the Indaba Hotel and Conference Centre, Fourways, Johannesburg.

It brings together regulatory authorities, senior mining stakeholders, policy makers and influencers to engage on the country’s mining landscape.
The Summit will reflect on the status of implementation of the MPRDA since its promulgation, and endeavour to address the potential and current regulatory challenges, whilst also imploring best practices and initiatives which will inform the review of the MPRDA and the Mining Charter.
