Media Advisory:- DMRE to participate at the Investing in African Mining Indaba 2021, 02 February 2021

The Acting Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Ms Mmamoloko Kubayi-Ngubane (MP), current Minister of Tourism, will welcome and introduce the Honourable President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa of South Africa who will deliver the first Opening Presidential Address on the 2 February 2021 at the “Investing in African Mining Indaba 2021.” Following the Presidential address on day one, Advocate Thabo Mokoena, Director General of the DMRE, will join industry leaders to discuss Government and Private Sector Collaboration with regards the Resilience, Reboot and Responsible Sourcing of African Minerals on day two.  

The Indaba is the world’s largest gathering of the industry’s most influential stakeholders and decision-makers in African mining. The African Mining Indaba 2021 will focus on Resilience and Regrowth: Adopting the New Mindset for African Mining.

The DMREs participation at African Mining Indaba is scheduled as follows:
