The Deputy Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Dr Nobuhle Nkabane (MP) will on Thursday, 01 December 2022, address the HIV/AIDS/GBVF Commemoration in Kuruman, Northern Cape.

The commemoration is hosted by the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) in collaboration with Kudumane Mineral Resources mine in Kuruman with an aim of raising awareness towards the fight against gender-based violence and femicide.

Taking place under the theme: “Putting Ourselves to the Test: Achieving Equity to end HIV,” the commemoration seeks to encourage people to unite in an effort to eliminate the disparities and inequities that create barriers to HIV testing, prevention, and access to HIV care.
