The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Mr Gwede Mantashe (MP), will tomorrow, 04 October 2022, officially open the Africa Oil Week Conference set to take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from the 4th to the 7th of October 2022.
Africa Oil Week is an annual conference that brings together petroleum industry captains, government leaders, the academia, and non-governmental organisations to deliberate on various matters in the oil and gas sector.
During the conference, the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) will host a South Africa Day, with a focus on the country’s energy solutions, which include oil, gas and renewable energy as espoused in the Integrated Resource Plan (IRP 2019).
