The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Mr Gwede Mantashe (MP), will address the 11th annual Windaba set to take place at the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CITCC) from 12 to 13 October 2022.
Windaba is an annual conference hosted by the South African Wind Energy Association (SAWEA) supported by the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC). It aims to facilitate partnerships for the implementation of renewable energy projects, influence energy policy, and provide a framework for strategic decision-making.
This year’s Windaba is convened under the theme: Wind Power Spearheading the Energy Transition for Accelerated Growth, and will bring together key stakeholders including professionals, policymakers, academics, government representatives and civil society to share the most relevant and current information around the wind sector.
