The Minister of Mineral Resources and Energy, Mr Gwede Mantashe (MP), will officially open the Limpopo Provincial Mining, Energy, and Industrialisation Investment Conference set to take place from 29 to 30 September 2022, in Polokwane.

Convened under the theme: “Realising Limpopo’s Investment Potential in Mining and other strategic sectors of the economy,” the Conference is part of the government’s drive to attract direct foreign investment into the province, especially in the mining and energy sectors. It is a culmination of Limpopo Investment and Limpopo Mining conferences that were held last year in September 2021 respectively, in which several investors expressed interest in investing in the province.

Limpopo Premier Mr Stanley Chupu Mathabatha and the MEC for Economic Development, Environment and Tourism, Mr Thabo Mokone, will also address the conference, and highlight the strength and comparative advantages that the province offers to investors and trade partners.
