DEPUTY MINISTER OLIPHANT TO HANDOVER SOCIAL LABOUR PLAN PROJECTS IN RICHARDS BAY

The Deputy Minister of Mineral Resources, Mr. Godfrey Oliphant will on Thursday, 11 April 2019, officially hand over Tronox’s Social Labour Plan (SLP) projects in Richards Bay in KwaZulu-Natal.

The Deputy Minister will conduct an official handover of classrooms in 3 primary schools, and one high school as part of Tronox SLP commitment delivery. The schools are as follows:

  1. Qhamuka High School at Somopho Traditional Authority
  2. Inkosi Zenzo Primary School at Madlebe Traditional Authority
  3. Mvuzemvuze Primary School at Mkhwanazi Traditional Authority (KwaDlangezwa)
  4. Nsingweni Primary School at KwaNzuza Traditional Authority

Members of the media are invited to cover the programme, which will unfold as follows:

Venue:            Qhamuka High School*

*first school handover followed by Inkosi Zenzo Primary School, Mvuzemvuze Primary School and lastly Nsingweni Primary School

 

PART B:

Time:              11h00

Venue:            Nsingweni Primary School at KwaNzuza, KwaZulu-Natal
