Mineral Resources Minister Gwede Mantashe will ‪on Sunday 23 September 2018 visit Xolobeni village in the Mbizana local municipality, Eastern Cape, to engage with communities in the area on community conflicts which occurred as a result of a prospecting right application and the moratorium currently place restricting applications. 

The Minister will be joined by the Alfred Nzo District Municipality Executive Mayor Cllr Sixolile Mehlomakhulu and the Mbizana Local Municipality Mayor Cllr Daniswa Mafumbatha.
