The Minister of Mineral Resources, Mr Gwede Mantashe will on Friday,15 March 2019, deliver a keynote address at the Land handover to the Rustenburg Local Municipality and the Rustenburg Development Trust.
About 242 hectares of land valued at R17 million donated by Anglo American Platinum will be transferred to the municipality for various sustainable reforms including housing and human resettlement projects. Furthermore, about 27 hectares of land will be transferred to the Rustenburg Community Development Trust for the benefit of community members.
Minister Mantashe will be joined by the Minister of Human Settlements Ms Nomaindia Mfeketo and the Premier of the North West, Prof. Job Mokgoro.
