The Minister of Mineral Resources, Mr. Gwede Mantashe will on‪ Wednesday, 12 December 2018, deliver a keynote address at the official launch of the Mapungubwe Institute (MISTRA) Research Report on the “Future of Mining in South Africa: Sunset or Sunrise”.

The publication probes issues such as the role of the State in mineral development, mining in the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and how to manage rehabilitation of mines.
